    Unbelievable Dog

So after 1 1/2 weeks of numerous sightings of the lost dog, the dog was finally found.

The dog, whose name is Cola, had spent almost the entire first 3 years of her life in Save Our Street Dogs (SOSD) compound. She was found outside the SOSD compound trying to get back in after 1 1/2 weeks. This is almost hard to believe. Cola has never took the route from Ang Mo Kio to SOSD compound in Pasir Ris before, yet somehow there is an inner built GPS in her which helps her to find her way back. Braving rain, sun, traffic and almost no food and water, she miraculously manage to walk close to 20km home.

To give an idea how far it is, here is the map, and we do not know which route she took:

    Simply amazing.

Here is the post from SOSD :

Cola has been found!!The past week has been filled with anxiety as volunteers searched for her day and night. Hope…

Looking for a Needle in a Haystack

    needle_haystack

Spent the whole Sunday morning helping a friend to look for her dog. After targeting a certain area to search, we proceeded to search around the area. That was when I realised we were really looking for a needle in a haystack. There were just so many areas that a runaway dog can hide, and on top of that, a lot of areas were out of bounds, for e.g. construction sites, fenced up industry buildings, and areas that were just inaccessible.

It was hot, and I was as red as a lobster. I pity the dog who is out in the wild, all alone, without access to clean water and food, with no shelter.

I really hope the dog can be found.
